Data API
A read-only JSON interface to initiative records and preservation progress.
This site documents the initiative and its restoration work. Restored material appears in each website’s own archive and domain.
- GET /api/stats: preservation-stage statistics
- GET /api/sites: nominated websites and restoration projects
- GET /api/sites/{slug}: a website record with coverage, rights and stages
- GET /api/sites/{slug}/resolve?path=/mat/1: the status of an old URL in that website’s records
- GET /api/milestones: public initiative updates
- GET /api/search?q=…: search initiative pages, site records, updates and archive-search links
This interface provides initiative and website-record data. To search preserved content, use search on the relevant archive’s own domain.
The interface is experimental and its fields may change. Stable releases will be announced here.
